We travel from city to city to provide the homeless with a shower, a meal, a backpack full of essential toiletries, and some clean clothes. Our goal is to favorably impact the lives of our vulnerable population, restore their dignity, and give them hope.
Travis Harris Kelleher lost his battle with drug addiction on September 2, 2016, and died alone in the streets of Bangor ME at the young age of 33. We seek to remind those who are living a life of homelessness that we are here and we care.
Our mission is to relieve the pain and suffering of the homeless experience by offering victims of homelessness dignity and hope. Support the Soupman’s creed is “to care, clean, clothe, connect, and feed the needs of our homeless.” Our aim is to bring awareness of the plight of the homeless to communities and their leaders, nationwide. When the misfortunes of the homeless are understood, positive and substantial change can be initiated.
Help us to help the homeless. Your compassion can profoundly impact the life of a fellow human being. From volunteering to becoming a sponsor, we offer limitless ways for anyone to help. CALL 508-510-6680 or click GET INVOLVED button below.
Meal by meal. Shower by shower. Bus by bus. City by city. State by state. The Soupman currently helps the homeless from Bangor Maine through Providence RI. We will not stop until we are helping the homeless, nationwide.
