We travel from city to city to provide the homeless with a shower, a meal, a backpack full of essential toiletries, and some clean clothes. Our goal is to favorably impact the lives of our vulnerable population, restore their dignity, and give them hope.
We do this completely through the contributions of our sponsors and donors and the efforts of our volunteers. Without their generosity, we would not have the current fleet of trucks, mobile showers, and buses used in our outreach efforts.
Travis Harris Kelleher lost his battle with drug addiction on September 2, 2016, and died alone in the streets of Bangor ME at the young age of 33. We seek to remind those who are living a life of homelessness that we are here and we care.
Our mission is to relieve the pain and suffering of the homeless experience by offering victims of homelessness dignity and hope. Support the Soupman’s creed is “to care, clean, clothe, connect, and feed the needs of our homeless.” Our aim is to bring awareness of the plight of the homeless to communities and their leaders, nationwide. When the misfortunes of the homeless are understood, positive and substantial change can be initiated.
