It is our mission to help relieve the pain and suffering that the homeless experience by providing food, clothing, sanitary items and back packs at no cost to homeless people across New England. With your help and support, we can provide these items to the homeless.
An important word about donations.
First of all, we thank the many, many people who donate clothes to us. We couldn’t do what we do without YOU. However, we are continuously shocked at what people put in our donation bins. It takes our amazing Clothing Team many hours every single week to sort through everything. We donate what we can’t use and throw out many items.
Please help us to save time and energy by following these simple rules.
Generally, if YOU wouldn’t wear it, please don’t donate it.
Please DO donate adult sizes (we don’t take kid stuff):
Clean, and in good condition, gently used: winter jackets, winter boots, sweatshirts, hoodies, NEW underwear, hotel sized toiletries, socks, hats, gloves.
PLEASE DO NOT donate (we have actually received each of these items):
jackets with no or broken zippers, lingerie, lint brushes, body glitter, clay facial masks, high heel shoes, kids clothes and sneakers, used socks, used underwear, pants(this includes jeans or slacks), moldy clothes, wet clothes, clothes with cat hair, sheets, dish towels, aprons, kids’ clothing, bathing suits, business suits, or pocketbooks.
